Meet our Librarian

Kristin Davis

Hi!  My name is Kristin Davis and I'm the librarian at Robinson.  This is my 8th year at Robinson and my 18th year in education.  During those years, the majority of my time was spent as a 4th grade classroom teacher in Lindbergh, but I was also a librarian at Lindbergh High School for 4 years, before realizing I missed elementary.  Luckily, Robinson had an opening, the stars aligned, and here I am!  My husband, Ryan, and I live in Kirkwood and have two kids.  Nolan is 12 and Ceci is 9 and they keep us very busy when I'm not reading lots and lots of children's books!

I attended Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate and, aside from my teaching degree, I double majored in Film & Media Studies.  I've used that degree to dabble in wedding videography, make family videos, and some fun videos for the library!  From there I got my Masters in Library and Information Sciences through Mizzou.  I also recently completed a program through St. Louis University and received my post-baccalaureate certificate in Educational Equity  and I'm so excited to apply what I learned there to the Robinson and Kirkwood Community.

I love coming to Robinson every day to help students find just the right books and am always happy to help families expand on their reading lives!  Reach out if I can be of help!
