Meet our Librarian

Mrs. Kristin Davis

Hi!  My name is Kristin Davis and I'm the librarian at Robinson.  This is my 7th year at Robinson and my 17th year in education.  During those years, the majority of my time was spent as a 4th grade classroom teacher in Lindbergh, but I was also a librarian at Lindbergh High School for 4 years, before realizing I missed elementary.  Luckily, Robinson had an opening, the stars aligned, and here I am!  My husband, Ryan, and I live in Kirkwood and have two kids.  Nolan is 11 and Ceci is 8 and they keep us very busy when I'm not reading lots and lots of children's books!
I attended Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate and, aside from my teaching degree, I double majored in Film & Media Studies.  I've used that degree to dabble in wedding videography, make family videos, and some fun videos for the library!  From there I got my Masters in Library and Information Sciences through Mizzou.  This year, I'm continuing work on a certificate in Educational Equity through St. Louis University and I'm so excited to apply what I learn there to the Robinson and Kirkwood Community.
I love coming to Robinson every day to help students find just the right books and am always happy to help families expand on their reading lives!  Reach out if I can be of help!
