Robinson Cares
Why Robinson Cares?
Robinson Cares began over 15 years ago when our PTO and staff found that many families were in need in our community. Some of our families live at or below the poverty level. Other families have had an unexpected event which temporarily has them unable to make ends meet. No matter what the reason, when families find themselves needing help, our PTO and staff want to be able to provide it when possible. Robinson Cares has grown over the past 15 years and now includes a substantial Food Pantry. Our Food Pantry is sustained by our school community through our families sending in 1 can/item each month with their student. We are also very fortunate to partner with 2 churches. Trinity Presbyterian Church provides volunteers each month to staff and organize pantry items. St. Gerard Majella volunteers generously shop for fresh and frozen items each month. In addition, St. Gerard Majella purchased a large freezer for our pantry. The pantry is open one evening each month from 6-7:30pm. Families can shop at other times by calling one of our school counselors, Indria Harris or Tasha Scola at (314) 213-6100.
