Cindy Star

Hello, my name is Cindy Star. Robinson is like my second family. I have had the honor of being chosen as the teacher of the year this year! Before teaching at Robinson, I was a kindergarten and first grade teacher in Florida. I have been teaching and in education  for over 30  years. I have taught and lived all over the country. I have a Master's Degree in Reading Instruction. I was born in Ohio, and I am a huge Ohio State fan. I also love all things Disney. I have two beautiful daughters. Samantha and Mandy who live in Arkansas. I love to visit them and be with my grandsons and daughters.  I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and live in the Rock Hill area. I love to travel and visit with my friends and family.  I really enjoy books of all kinds. I hope that I can share my love of reading with your child. I want all children to know that they can be successful. I love the philosophy that "I can't do that, YET!”
