Hello! My name is Rachael Stephens and I have taught AMAZING children at Robinson for 16 years. I am married to my wonderful husband, David, and have a 18-year-old stepson, Ben.  We also have two dogs - Jett and Rosie. 

Career: I started my career selling CHOCOLATE for Hershey Foods.  While it was a great experience for four years, I soon realized that my passion to serve kids was stronger. After returning to school at Maryville University for three years, I became a teacher! I began my career at Robinson as a Student Teacher in the fall and was hired as a Teaching Assistant for the remainder of the year.  During the following year, I had my very own classroom - teaching first graders!  I have had the privilege to teach several age groups and truly believe that children of all ages are amazing and have many, many strengths. I have the most years teaching children in first grade and truly LOVE seeing our adorable learners as they grow throughout the year.

Education: I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Maryville University. I have most recently completed one year of a two-year course in which I am learning new and effective ways to teach language and literacy skills to every student. Additionally, I continue to research, investigate and experiment with new ways to teach and guide ALL children - each day.
